Following an impromptu jam at keyboard player, Martin Lawrie's Birthday Party in late 2022, discussions started for Curfew to reunite permanently. The Jazz Fusion band, which Russ recorded three albums with, plan to record new and revamped material during 2023.

Hot on the heels of the first Fragile release "Golden Fragments", the follow-up "Beyond" is now available.

Russ started testing a prototype of the new "Truegrip" sticks in late 2020. These are a replica of the sticks he used to use when he was an endorsee for Trueline over 10 years ago. The company refocused and moved away from making drumsticks. Russ has looked for a similar design for years, but never found anything which compared with the Truelines - until now! The London Drumstick Company have surpassed the design and feel of the original stick and Russ now has his own signature version of the 5AX

At least a couple of years in the making, Russ recorded the drums for this album  using the Roland TD-30 in his home studio. Featuring Claire Hamill on Vocals, Oliver Day on Guitar, Max Hunt on Keys.  Available to preview and purchase now, from the link below!

A new album of all original material from the very talented guitarist, Nick Fletcher (The John Hackett Band).  Featuring special guest John Hackett on flute and vocals.  Also, Dave Bainbrige (The Strawbs, Iona & Lifesigns) on keyboards and Tim Harries (Earthworks, Katie Melua) on bass. Produced by Caroline Bonnett. Russ recorded the drum tracks for this album remotely, during lockdown .

Recorded at the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Rooms in March 2020. These were the final dates of the first part of GVT's 40th Anniversary Duke Tour. Featuring the best of the 1980 Duke album, this CD is guaranteed to be a huge hit with Genesis fans. Produced by Mark Payne. Released  Summer 2020.

A project undertaken for gigs with 'The Book of Genesis' - A total rebuild of a 70's 'Elite' concert tom kit and an early 80's double headed 'Soundwave' kit. In the style of Phil Collins' classic setups from the 'Seconds Out' and 'Duke' eras. This has been a labour of love, but totally worthwhile to bring these vintage instruments back to life. Known widely in Prog circles for their 1977 Album 'Garden Shed' - England were rumoured to be reforming in 2018. Russ was contacted by Mike Morton of 'The Gift' about his involvement. Keen to be part of it, Russ set about learning the complex pieces - Midnight Madness, Three Piece Suite & Poisoned Youth. The new line up first played together in Sept 2018 and performed live in March 2019 at the Fusion Festival in Stourport, UK. The line up included founder members Robert Webb, Frank Holland and Martin Henderson. More dates to follow in 2019..........

A great opportunity for 'Fragile' to celebrate the music of 'Yes' along with the band and fans at The London Palladium on Sunday 25th March 2018.

Russ and Roberto met on a small local gig, both standing in for Adam Winslet's band. They immediately hit it off and discovered they clicked musically. The opportunity came about to work together on Roberto's second album 'When the Smoke Clears'. Russ recorded all the drum tracks in his home studio on the Roland TD-30 electronic drum kit.
